On Friday night, they went to Chuck E. Cheese. Stace and I are so glad my parents like taking the girls there, so we don't have to. (Although, saying that, Violet noticed a birthday party and asked if she can have her next birthday party there, too.)
The girls were able to exchange the tickets they won at the games for fun prizes. Cora got Fun Dip, and Violet chose these glow-in-the-dark vampire fangs.
Bedtime storytime included Jake, who the girls loved playing with in the back yard, too.
On Saturday, after Violet's soccer class, they went to the Wildlife Learning Center in Sylmar.
This was a perfect little outing for these wildlife-loving girls. Here, Violet gets to know a friendly milk snake, which isn't venomous, but resembles the very venomous coral snake.

Then, they went to Placerita Canyon for a little hike, before a frozen yogurt treat at the mall.
That evening, Jake's friend Jack the poodle came to visit and spend the night. Violet loved Jack, and now says she wants a poodle when she's older.
On Sunday, Grandma and Grandpa took the girls to Raging Waters, to Grandpa's deputy union's company picnic.
I'm glad that Stace and I weren't the only ones having a great weekend. Thanks, Mom and Dad!
