Montacute

We wanted to do something Christmassy, and Stace had read that Montacute House was featuring a Christmas lights event on December evenings.

We met up with Dean and Jen and the children, and had a hot drink before we walked the grounds. Jenny and I enjoyed mulled wine - lovely!

It's always great to spend time with Dean and Jenny.

The lighting highlighted the beauty of 400-year-old Montacute House.

The cousins occupied themselves with tag and hide-and-seek.

We weren't able to enter the house, but walking around the grounds and seeing the outbuildings - also decorated for the holiday - made for a lovely evening.
