My friend Emily flew in from Dallas on Friday, to hang out and see friends for the weekend. She used to live in SClarita, and we were in Mom2Mom together, so we have a lot of mutual friends. I brought her home from Burbank Airport, and we had lunch at the Habit and coffee from Trophy, and a little walk at Quigley Canyon.
These are all Emily and Colleen's photos. The morning was so pretty! And Emily was here to catch the last of the spring green, as we drift into our dry golds and browns.
At the end of the trail, near the highest waterfall, Violet decided to climb up the side of the hill. In the photo, she blends in, so I've circled her in blue. As she came down, she sent a few cascades of rocks so we all had to be careful!
Look at that water! You'd never know we were on the outskirts of town!
I changed into water sandals, and brought some for Emily to use, so we could just walk through the stream as needed.
