Westward Ho and Clovelly

Saturday in north Devon dawned sunny and beautiful, so we went to the seaside town of Westward Ho.

It was lovely and warm, and the kids got wet and dug in the muddy sand.

Later, we went to impossibly pretty Clovelly, a very old harbor village built on a steep hill.
Cora and Violet loved the cats, which were roaming free when we walked down the steep cobbled street.
Cora went back with Nan and Pop to join Dean and Jen, but Stace, Violet and I carried on to the harbor, where we had a drink in this stunning pub.

Violet had a pineapple juice, like Stace used to get with his Pop.
