Good Times

During the first week of our two-week trip, we spent a lot of time with our family. One afternoon, after visiting Big Nan,  we had a picnic lunch on the riverbank in Langport. It was a lovely setting, with the river, the fields, the cows, the wildflowers and even enough sun to feel its warmth.
I am truly blessed. Love these three!
Cora and Violet collected buttercups, which Stace made into a necklace for Cora.
On another nice afternoon, we took Big Nan on a short walk from her home to a sweet tea shop in Somerton.
Cora and Violet both loved their tea and scones. I think Cora must have had three cups (and 5 or 6 sugar packets!). Violet also liked the tea, and drank it with less sugar, surprisingly. I believe she will be our coffee drinker; she's always expressed a lot of interest in my coffee.
