Halloween Fun

A few weeks ago, Violet asked if she could have a Halloween craft party, like Cora did last year. She created homemade invitations, planned out some crafts and activities, and gave her friends a fabulous time Friday.

We planned the party for Friday, after school got out at noon, but a big fire south of us shut the freeways and led to school being cancelled throughout SClarita. But, we kept the party time the same, and the girls enjoyed a simple pizza lunch.

Let me tell you, these girls were noisy!

Craft One was Dia de los Muertos skulls. Craft Two was jack 'o lantern string art. Stace was a busy daddy, cutting and painting all the wood for Violet this week after work.

Then, the girls decorated cupcakes. Thanks to Christina for coming along to hang out with me, and for taking these photos.

Victoria and Melanie stayed longest, while we mommies chatted. They ended up playing some Apples to Apples.

It was a great afternoon!
