Cora made a batch of cupcakes using homegrown lemons we were given from a friend. Violet decorated them. We all ate them for days.
Liana came over to play on Saturday afternoon. The girls spent some time Minecrafting.
Violet and Stace have been watching videos from a company that features model airplanes, and Violet got very excited about getting her own airplane.
Stace ordered one, and Violet loved building and painting it.

Cora now comes to church with us, because our children's classes go through 6th grade. She prefers sitting outside in the amphitheater, and because of the heat, we sit under some of the platforms, in the shade. Cora and Stace butt heads too often, but I was thrilled to capture this sweet moment between them.
On Sunday evening, Kelly, Yass and Stace and I went out on a double-date. We had dinner and then did an escape room. With the help of another couple, we escaped!
It was early enough that we stopped off for a drink and a round of darts before calling it a night. Thankfully, we had Monday off for Labor Day to rest up.
