Cora made these beautiful candles in her Pioneer Club class. They look beautiful and smell good, too.

My friend Molly invited me to volunteer with her at an event benefiting our community's homeless and impoverished families. It was a free Christmas shopping event, and we helped organize the toy donations.
This room at Valencia Methodist, where we do Mom2Mom, featured empty tables and boxes of goods when we started. In a couple of hours, all the toys were organized by age of the recipient.
Molly is Jake and Char's grandma, and we had the boys over later that afternoon. The kids decided to go to the park, and Cora and Charlie - both very clever kids, mind you - got themselves stuck in the baby swings.
Jake took the opportunity to tickle his brother mercilessly.
I actually had to get the stepladder from home for Cora to stand on, so she could get herself free. What a girl.
A few weeks ago, Stace took the girls to a church meal-packing morning.
And Cora was very helpful in decorating our house, both inside and out.
Meanwhile, Violet earned some money raking leaves.
